The bros and I found this spot between Scorton and Northallerton and enjoyed a really great lunch. A lovely spot we shall definetly use again. A holiday dstination but open to the public. Take a book for a quiet read.
Came across this cafe by chance, had a full Sunday roast! I’m gluten free and nothing was too much trouble - had the full works including Yorkshire’s. Very friendly staff, great food and reasonably priced! Just be aware to take cash as the card machine can be temperamental for them.
Excellent food, service, price, you will not be disappointed. Went with my husband fishing, x had afternoon tea at the cafe, it was absolutely lovely, the staff are so friendly , nothing was too much trouble. We sat outside in the sunshine overlooking the lake, x had a lovely day. Well done x thankyou will definitely be back x will recommend to all our friends Dawn x Sean.
Always had great service from Teri, and boy can she make a good coffee!
Wow!! Booked last minute afternoon tea to celebrate my Mum's 80th. Loads of delicious sandwiches , cake and scones , more than enough for the 8 of us.Also tea topped up as much as required. We ate in the Summer house overlooking the lake which was lovely and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Had looked at other places in town which were double the price but cannot see they could have offered anything better than the quality and service we got at Parklands.
Lovely food and fab service. Even though the weather was dull and slightly damp, I can't give anything less than 5 stars. This was the 3rd visit by our family and friends. We were welcomed by staff and even other customers. Such a lovely lunch experience even outside with 2 active dogs. It's in a great setting too, near the fishing lake behind a quiet caravan site. Thanks so much.
Just had Sunday lunch and it was delicious...all homemade, fantastic portions and a good choice of options..definitely value for money. Service was spot on also.
